SR20 help

Yes another noob posting. I have looked used search and still havnt found any real up to date information. Just tryin to figure out good reliable place to think about gettin an SR20 motor and tranny package. I keep reading and places like JDM engine depot seem to have bad cred. I just want to see where some of you more recent swapped guyz have gotten your swap stuff. (im stilling doing my homeworking and gettin info). If theres a place already for this lock this up and direct me in the general area :D

Theres so many answers to that question and the place I got mine sent me a Flawless Motor w/ no issues what-so-ever.JSA Motors in canada.even still have the STock CLutch in it.

My Buddies w/ Corolla's are getting blktops from Japan Star motors.
They Only Sell S13 blacktops and Up: S14 SR's and S15 SR's. (means its somewhat Newer than a redtop)

Price was 2 Full Swaps w/ Trans for like $3200 FREE shipping or something.they Offer Free shipping
I'd prob check them out - have Good feedback even on Ebay - which most people will tell you to stay away from ebay SR's.

Just when you do get one - Take it apart 1st thing and Just replace all the gaskets and minor stuff - JUST to be safe.

yeah taking it apart and changing every gasket and inspecting it and have the block and head tested for cracks is a must have done a few 350 swaps in s10s but thought it would be fun having a turbo project :D thanks for some of that information. Keep it comin love learnin new stuff and im always reading other post too :D

quick question thought i would post here instead of starting a new thread...whats your opinions on buying front clips vs just motor/tranny. Thank you for any helpful information.
