Yes i did my research, but no one came to conclusion.. but other then that heard BC Spec 2 is the best overall, cant confrim. Also heard of HKS hipower, Apex N1, reinhard rh02, fujitsubo, dart izumi,BRM.. for example we can confrim B+M is the best short shifter for our 240's, so whats the best HP gain and non ricy sound out of all these? I personally checking out youtube like apexi 's dual n1. What is Zilvia's opinion?? also its best to rock 2.5 or 2.25's for NA right/?

it's an exhaust... you'll get like 3-4 hp.

there's this one exhaust from A-Spec called Blast Pipes that i heard is pretty awesome! nice quiet, low tone and doesn't get loud until 5k rpm!

Thats like asking who is the best corn grower. It's all the same shit. Unless you can be a bit more specific with what "best" is to you. Weight? Not any apexi exhaust..try tanabe for lightness. Best midrange? N1 dual. Best *SNIP*nesserrrr cheapness... Megan. So what is your definition of best? All my buddies with NA KA's run Apexi's N1, and N1 duals. They hug the undercarriage 10x better.

you'll be fine with any 2.5" or 3" n1 exhaust.
i dont even want to argue between the piping sizes.. either is fine for whatever.

If you like N1-style stuff, go for it - resonated for quiet, not resonated for loud.
I like my Apexi WS Noir on my NA KA car... quiet, deep, but still 3" - and black so it gets no cop attention whatsoever.

Imho the overall "best" exhaust would be a custom one made the way you want it to be made. This way you can be happy with how it looks, sounds and clearance.
As far as performance goes, and correct me if I'm wrong, an exhaust alone won't have any noticeable power gains unless you have at least intake and headers. Although pipe sizing and back pressure will affect your cars throttle response and power band.

which NA S14 do you have?
Silvia Qs/200sx?
240sx?
Modded or not?
But still, stick with stock is the best as you do not gain much anyways.

then would u reccomend NEW! Exhaust for the S13 / S14 240sx!!!: 240SX Forum / 180SX Forum / Silvia Forum: Nissan Forums / Infiniti Forums - NICOclub (http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=48608&page=1) i have a zenki. price really isnt a concern, just not ricy things and good gains!also mean sounding exhaust wouldnt be bad either

I do not personally own a BRM so I don't want to recommend it per say. However I have heard good things. If price isn't a concern then I would say all the ones you mentioned in the OP are good just depends on your taste because none of them sound ricey to me.
The exhaust I have on my s13 is modeled after the trust DD however I'm still running a 12in resonator and cat. Piping is 2.5in inlet from the cat to two 2.25in outlets. It has a nice deep throaty sound, pretty loud if I'm driving hard but fairly quiet under 3k rpm and it doesn't drone. Good mid-range torque response.
Just some comments on a few of the exhaust that you mentioned from what I've seen on my friends cars though. The HKS hipower resonator hangs kinda low, apexi dual N1 looks nice and pretty quiet, BC spec2 is deafeningly loud...love it.

i have an HKS Hi-Power. It's OK i guess, no complaints, my friend seem to like the sound also. I'm not a big fan of dual tip. Personally, I like the single style. Whatever floats your boat man.

i cant come to a conclusion for you either coz i've only had one exhaust which is what i have right now, HKS hi power 2.5mm. big thing for me was not be loud since im in cali, dont want to attract attention from cops with the loud sound.. it is pretty quiet, and with the silencer on it, it sounds close to stock.. just has a deep rumble.. and oh, canister isnt huge like the ones i have seen people rock on their rides.. so yeah, happy with mine..
run down:
quiet, canister isn't too big, if going for stockish sound, silencer can dilever, ground clearance is pretty good too.. so yeah, what ever works for you i guess...

i had experience with apexi n1 dual exhaust, hks hi-power, and rsr ex mag. The N1 dual sounds ok, but a bit heavy and drowning noise. The HKS isn't too loud and sounds awesome, but the end tilt looks a bit too exaggerated. The rsr sounds good, looks good and not too loud. Go for the rsr!

dude u fail....How do you come to this conclusion?
KA's do like 3" piping. :mepoke:
Don't get an HKS Hi-Power if you plan on being super low. They hang way too low, and it will scrape a lot.

LOL How does he fail. It's been dyno proven to make more whp than anything less. Do you have any dyno sources to prove otherwise?

dude u fail....
No, dumbfuck, YOU FAIL.
KA's DO love 3 inch piping. They love 3 inch piping the same way that sluts love impaling themselves on 10 inch cocks.
Fucking noobs.
LOL How does he fail. It's been dyno proven to make more whp than anything less. Do you have any dyno sources to prove otherwise?
Of course he has no proof. He's probably one of those idiots that had a Honda before, and any exhaust bigger than 2.5 inches makes you lose power if you're N/A, so for some stupid reason, when he moved onto the Nissan world, he remained convinced that despite the fact that KA's are 2.4 liter motors, you should still have a tiny exhaust.
Therefore, clearly, HE FAILS.
Back on topic... The best exhaust for an N/A S14... Well, that all depends on your taste and what you're going to be using the car for. Dual N1's DO sound pretty good, but they tend to break apart at the welds - well, they old ones did; not sure about the new ones. But that's easily fixed. I like the dual N1's because thanks to the dual 2.5 inch piping, you get the benefits of having the low-end and mid-range power of a smaller exhaust, AND the top-end flow of a 3inch exhaust, and you gain a bit of extra ground clearance over that of typical 3 inch setups.

As I am sure has been stated, "best exhaust" is purely subjective...
Gains are honestly negligible on a NA car, so you're more shopping for weight, sound and aesthetics and materials than anything else, really.
My opinion? Custom, simple as that... Make it what you want it to be.
