I got blue rtv for replacing my coolant sensor since it said sensor safer, and when I was at walmart it was the only one that said that on the package. So I figured that was the way to go. I only used a dab, and needless to say have a whole tube left so I'm trying to get an idea of what other projects i can use it on. I was thinking valve cover gasket? You only have to use sealant on the half moons right..or is it the whole gasket surface?
Thanks

to my suprise..no. I've checked twice...all it does is describe the rtv and how to apply..not what it can be applied on/for????

the colors are a major clue to what they are for......blue is for water....black is to be used in oil areas.....and the red/orange.... high heat areas......
