Squicky noise

when i rev my S13 5 speed, right at 3000 rpms i get a squicky noise. kind of like a bearing spinning.
i cant really pin point the noise though.
even with the car in neutral, foot on pedal and in all the gears.
what could it be?:down:

these 240s are pretty much 20 years old there is always a squeak from front to back side to side!..

well seeing as how a squeak is a low speed noise... its not the engine or trans.

now a grind or a screech is a different story

most likely cause is a throwout bearing
