I purchased an s13 with an sr20det recently and I am having a problem. When I first got the car it wouldn't crank and I had to replace the starter and spark plugs. After I got that fixed I found out that the engine was full of gas. The gas was mixed in with the oil and was in the cylinders and everything. I got a garage to get all the gas out of everything and after that they replaced the seals on a few of the injectors. After they did this it ran fine and they took it around the block to get the turbo spooling up and everything was running good. Then around an hour or so after that they cranked it back up and it was burning gas and running very rough again. So I was thinking that the fuel injectors are leaking gas into the engine or something because the car wasnt started in around 4 months before I bought it and that could be a reason of why the engine was full of gas. Does anyone know of anything else it could be or have had this same problem?
thanks

to check for leaky injectors
Pull Fuel rail with injectors still in
Clean all fuel residue off injectors
place fuel rail/injecotrs on paper bag
Turn Key to "ON" (to prime fuel pump)
No fuel should come out
If it does either Injector is leaking or O-Rings

Ok right now its at the garage and I will check tomorrow. Could the leaky injectors be the only reason for all the gas going into the engine?

The guy at the garage replaced a few of the seals on one of the injectors because he only had a few left. Are the seals the same as the o-rings or is that something different?

Well the O-rings "Seal" the injectors inside the Fuel rail
Everyone always call somthing a different name
There are insulators/seals on top of the Intake manifold that the the Injectors/fuel rail sit on.
I dont know what he replaced
But just order Fuel injector O-Ring's for a KA and replace ALL of them if the Orings are the problem.

I am going to try and get some orings tomorrow, but does anyone else have any other ideas of what it may be? I just want to know if it could be something besides the injectors and more serious.
