No show for you! Nissan is out. (http://www.autoilluminati.com/?p=533)
Autoblog has just just learned that Nissan will NOT be attending most auto shows the rest of the year. They will only attend Geneva, New York, Shanghai, and Tokyo. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise after they ditched the NAIAS aka Detroit Auto Show. When they announced they would not be attending Detroit they also said they would not be at Chicago, but later changed their mind and did indeed attend Chicago’s show which ended last weekend. This of course means Infiniti too.
What does that mean for the possible but not probable debut of the next Nissan SX? Who knows.

its cause i was pestering the fuck out of the guys in toronto for info on a new s chassis..
they were fucking idiots anyway.. insisting that the 240sx wasnt an s-chassis.. then they told me to buy a 370z, which is 40k in canada. i told them to suck a dick and that id rather buy a hyundai.

^^ it's cooler to see cars in person. some cars (i.e. 370Z) don't look like shit in person, even though they look terrible in pics.

370Z in person looks like a blob with go-kart wheels on it.

Surprising, since in Chicago the 370Z was by far the biggest draw at the entire show. I had to wait in line for 20 minutes just to sit in the damn thing, no other manufacturer had as much traffic as Nissan.

Well that's because you have always lacked judgment, taste, education and intelligence. So what else is new Matej.
LOL sorry but I could not resist, your statement above, coming from you, opened you up for the dig.

i enjoy car shows whenever i go... Go with people who enjoy looking at new cars and you will enjoy it... go with someone who prefers old cars instead, probably wont be very fun since they will be like "meh" and it carries onto you.

You have to be open minded about new cars, go to check out the quality and whats new in them.. Cant expect to see "all jdm modded cars" , tokyo auto salon cant even be compared since it involves heavy aftermarket.
Im wondering if the attendance to these shows has been decreasing over the past few years...
A few import companys already pulling out of Detroit show because of the economy there. I think they where saying its pointless there right now since theres not much income/interests with people

Hey man, that was the most ignorant post ever. So horribly uneducated, lacking any kind intelligent thought process. Please do not post until you pass 8th grade again. Zilvia should administer an IQ test before the Submit button can be clicked. That was just unpleasant to read. To think people such as this inhabit the Earth, it is most disturbing. Just pure ignorance, from someone who apparently knows nothing on the subject. I am left wondering how so much cluelessness and ignorance can be contained in one post, a most singular phenomenon. Wow, just wow, I will not be sleeping tonight.
Nissan showed up here at the Toronto autoshow, which was last week.

before it opened when only industry was allowed
got to talk to actual decision making people and engineers

LA auto show is pretty fun.
I try to make that once every other year to check out the factory paint-jobs (if nothing else).
That's something that can't be fully appreciated on the internet.
Some auto shows shows in Europe are pretty cool.
Was at the Bologna auto show back in 04.
It was interesting to say the least to see what they had to offer there, esp the Alfas.
They had a couple wrc cars and some small track event going on at the same time.
Definitely have to do the tokyo auto salon sometime in my life.
