Internal coil q...

I got an MSD rev limiter and the instructions are for setting it up with an external coil. So, having a 97 240sx i have an internal coil... Looking at the wiring diagrams here and can't figure out if there is a way to run it or not. What the instructions say is htat i'm supposed to tap the negative wire that goes from the distributor to the coil (and in my case that would be internal). So any advice comment? I dunnow if MSD 6AL uses the same setup...

I don't know if there is a way to tap into an internal coil system, but I think MSD makes a box that is kind of an adaptor. I don't know for sure, just going off of fuzzy memory. Good luck w/ it though. Let us know how it works once you get it in.

Umm ok, apperantly 6AL uses same setup since it has the rev limiter, so people with those have to tap as well.... time to go to FA :D

Ok, if anyone has the JWT instrucitons for the MSD 6AL ignition please post or pm me. I emailed couple of people that are supposed to have them but they are rather silent. Also, the msd adapter thing that is required for the 6AL installation. does it have to do with ignition or the rev limiter? Basicly can i skip it if i'm only doing the rev limiter? Thanx.
