I just came across this table on wikipedia and I thought it was pretty interesting and useful table, so I thought I'd share.
Of course I cannot guarantee its accuracy, but I think its good info for reference.

I suppose that this could be adequate information for those who are lacking any at all and need a starting point. Something I find worth mentioning:
-Shock absorbers are for oversteer/understeer tuning while changing direction, meaning slight adjustments can help for corner entry and exit. Tuning them for "constant" cornering as this chart implies will likely result in poor car behavior over bumps and less grip overall.

This should be common knowledge for anybody trying to set up a car.
