Im basically about to get a new suspension...so I need to know what the best kind of struts/springs are. Price isn't that much of a problem since I convinced my dad that I really do need them. I think I've narrowed it down the kyb agx, koni and tokico. I was just wondering what would be the best way to go.
I'll throw a couple questions in too since I should be getting new suspension 1st quarter next year. How do you know what springs go well with what struts? How low of a drop requires camber correction? How low of a drop requires short stroke (that what their called?) shocks/struts?

Go with the Tanabe super down precedos and tanabe shock/struts. i belive that this is the best setup. I have this setup ordered for my supra, and i'll be getting the same thing for my s13.

I was looking at those but I'm thinking now that 2" might be too much for everyday driving.

There are a lot of "new" suspension kits on the market, kits that have popped up in the last, say, four-five years. BUT, I would recommend that you stick with the brands that have been around, supporting customers for decades. Seeing as how this is a street car and that you don't need the adjustability of a coil-over set-up, I would recommend Eibach pro-kit springs and Koni yellow, non-adjustable dampers. On the front you'll have to do a little work to install the inserts into the stock strut assy., but nothing that anyone with a few hand tools and some sense should worry about (let me know if you need more info on the installation). I liked the Tokico Illuminas that I once had, but some people have had reliability problems. However, if you know EXACTLY what you want, Suspension Springs Specialists are among the best in the business when it comes to quality springs.

I just bought tokico blues for 299.99 after tax. I also won a set of H&R Springs from Germany for 190.00 shipped and all. just some info on prices and product. I've heard that the tokicos and Eibachs are a solid set up. I wanted illuminas for my s14 but every supplier said that they weren't available for my car in that year? Oh well. I'm installing within the week so wish me luck!!
