Nelson Racing Engines (http://www.nelsonracingengines.com/) has just released their new Twin Turbo Series Crate engines for Small And Big Block Chevys. They Feature new patented symmetrical Nelson Turbochargers with billet turbine and compressor wheels. NRE CNC machined 6061 billet aluminum intake manifolds have dual injectors per cylinder and octane on demand with built in fuel regulation. New Billet 4 into 1 collectors and turbo transitions are also available along with a custom harmonic damper with 60 tooth crank trigger machined into damper. In addition NRE now makes headers from aircraft grade 321 stainless. These are complete Engine Packages ready to drop in your Muscle car. They come pre-wired with all necessary electronics dyno tuned and ready to run including fuel pumps and filters. These are fully streetable packages you could drive across the country The SBC crate engine makes 1750 hp and the BBC makes 2000 hp and idles at 800 rpm.

man that shit is some BIG BIG BIG money. 33k for the 406 SBC TT.
god damn! then again i know a few people with around $30K into there motor's so ah well more money then i could ever spend.
MY buddy has a 72 Chevelle with a 496 BBC Built On moyot makes 750HP on pumpgas and just about 1000 on Nitrous and race gas.

I just put on of those in my Camry. My daily commute is only 12 min longs now. It used to take 2 1/2 hours.

NREs billet intake manifold design is killer.. in conjunction with the injector placement it uses 30% less fuel to produce the same power as a conventional intake manifold setup while adding loads of throttle responce... go to nretv.com

I was going to say charge to let people drive the beast...but with that kinda power, they dude is either never coming back because it's bad-ass and fun (stolen), or never coming back because they died trying to break the sound barrier in an S Cassis haha :)

its amazing how the V8 guys are starting to turbo everything. the new Hot Rod(either that or Car Craft) has an article about making 1k hp out of a new Shelby mustang. they just add 2 turbos to the already supercharged engine.
