Hi everyone,
Cleaning out the garage, time to get rid of a lot of my stuff I have laying around. All items are for sale in Huntington Beach, local pick-ups are preferred but I don't have a problem shipping at the buyers expense.
Wilwood big brake kit for s13 and s14. These kits have never been released by Wilwood. I am, to my knowledge, the only street car to have this brake kit at the moment. I know of only one other car in the world to have had wilwood give them a kit, and it is an s13 showcar that was @ SEMA. So, in a nut shell, this is rare kit. Plus its a very good quality.
The kit is a 6-piston 13" 2-piece rotor big brake kit. It is compatiable with the OE master cylinder, and installation time was about 30mins a side for me with simple tools. Everything need is included, even the stainless steel lines and pads. 2-piece rotors, slotted. The brakes are amazing, at the track there is zero comparison between them and 300zx, r33, whatever. All light weight forged componates. These things are made to take abuse, brake fade is non existant for me. Here are some pictures to show size compaired w/ stock s14 calipers.

UPDATE: I NOW HAVE ONE KIT LEFT!
The units I have for sale are brand NEW!!! MSRP was supposed to be $1600 on these, Wilwood never brought them to market, i assume because they doubted there was enough demand. I have them for $1300, firm, hopefully there is some demand at that price.
Next, I have some gts r33 calipers. No longer need them w/ my new wilwood set up I am running now. Fresh seals kit included. Price - $200.

If I ever needed a replacement rotor, I assume it uses a standard, readily available Wilwood part #?? Same with the pads?

Yes, the rotors are readily available from wilwood. The replacement rotors come drilled/slotted, and arnt too expensive so long as you still have the hat in good condiditon. The pads are available from wilwood, there are 6 diffrent compounds compatible for this caliper.

The use 280mm x 28mm rotors, the same as 300zx N/A rotors. The brake pads to be used are readily available. Depends how much you want to spend and what type of compound you want to run. Look around online and youll find lots of retailers selling compatable brake pads.

here is a picture of the headers, ill be honest and say I am unsure of milage, they were on the car when i purchased it 300 miles ago. I am going turbo and have no need for it. Worked perfectly when removed.

The pistons are NOT rare at all... I just saw 2 sets for sale today at $300 just for the pair of calipers.... You can get the 2 piece rotor and spacer for the caliper as well...

If I understand the OP correctly, what he has are kits that were designed specifically for the 240sx, not kits that were adapted to work with them. According to the Wilwood site, they only make 4 piston kits for 95-98 240sx.

I understand you sold the kit already, you dont happend to have any more kits, do you ?
I am curious, how did the Wilwood clipers, bolt to the OEM hub ?
Did they come with an adapter or they bolt streight to the hub ?
Did they use 12mm Bolts, or 14mm bolts ?
I did some research, and found out the the Wilwood 6POT kit, for the Z350 - would bolt to the S13/S14 hub, with only one slight modification.
The Z35 uses 14mm bolt's so the hole in the hub need to be enlarge to 14mm from 12 mm....thats all.
Either that, or use 12mm bolts with the kit, but you would need some sleeves for the bolt holes in the wilwood adapter.

Wilwood does have 4-piston kits available. But they have not sold 6-piston kits. I guess you could go buy most of the universal components, then have someone mill you custom brackets and some of the additional hardware. The calipers, rotors, hats are not special unreleased units, but in a 240sx application this is new. The kit wont be rare forever, wilwood will sell it eventually, but @ only $1200 for complete SIX-PISTON kit, its a great price.
Here is the 4-pisotn i think you are refering to
eBay Motors: Nissan 240sx S13 S14 Wilwood Big Brake Kit 5 Lug 4 Pot (item 170282859206 end time Mar-27-09 11:22:05 PDT) (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissan-240sx-S13-S14-Wilwood-Big-Brake-Kit-5-Lug-4-Pot_W0QQitemZ170282859206QQcmdZViewItem)
and this is a 4-piston kit for $1120! Plus i dont even see wilwoods $60 SS lines!
The kit does use a bracket that mounts to the OE bracket. It does use sleeves in the OE bracket, very simple installation this way, no modification of OE parts. The bracket accomidates the larger caliper and raises the caliper to a proper position to fit over the 13" rotors.

Good deal for a rare setup! There are s13/14 6 piston kits out there. But not directly from wilwood. I am not going to poop.

For those R33 Gts-T calipers, they won't work with 300zx rotors. You will need to use R33 Gts-T rotors which are 296mm X 30mm.
They use the same brake pads as 300zx.
