Well, It was more like a loud knock. I heard it in the rear right area of my car, I was driving slow on flat ground about to park..initially I thought someone threw a good size rock at my car (that's what it sounded like) but I inspected after I parked and didn't see anything that would suggest my car was hit then I inspected the rear right wheel and suspension but it was dark so I will try again today. What should I look for? I cant imagine an arm breaking off from a bolt.

I had a KYB GR2 strut fail on me while drifting at englishtown. It sounded like you described and when i jacked the car up i knew instantly because the wheel sagged so hard. Just jack it up and look at everything, give it a good shake.

I jacked the car up today and gave it a good look. Didn't really see anything out of the ordinary and I gave it a good and it didn't move at all. THen I thought, maybe it was my tire? But that checked out too. Odd.

I'll have to check those out this weekend. If the end link is bad will it fit back in properly?
Thanks.

Aftermarket exhaust?
Could have been a really, really loud backfire.
I've got an ebay 3'' on a stock KA and it pops every once in a while. Once it backfired loud enough to make me think my tire dismounted from the rim.

Could be. Ive never been in a car when it backfired so I cant be sure.
