1997 240sx gonna do a S13 SR20det

Does anybody know or has this swap done? How fast do oyu think it is? Its a S13 Redtop in my 97 240sx. All for like $3500 with huge front mount. Is that good price? thanks

is this price for an installed motor with the huge FMIC you mentioned? if so, yeah thats a great deal. trsilvias13 has an s14 w/ a red-top in it, why dont you ask him about it. The red-top engine will respond to upgrades the same as any other SR for the most part, and the money you save can be put back into other parts.

the only thing is fitment issues of certain parts, and if that price is for just the motor-set and FMIC it's not that great of a deal. the install of a red-top motor into your car will be more difficult than putting in an s14 black-top.
