anybody from the tech area or can drive to tech want to have a meet? i'm thinking April something... a Saturday would be better for me... but we'll talk it out. any time... any place. basiclly any suggestions are great. get back in touch.

Yea I'm in. Maybe mid-april like the 2nd or 3rd weekend . . .also I am planning on going to the autocross in Salem this sunday if anyone is gonna be there lemme know so I can be on the lookout. I am just comin by myself as of now.

I'm living and going to school in Indy right now, but Salem is home. If you all do something after I'm out of school for the summer, I'll definately be there. Any time during the summer, I'm allways looking for a good reason to go home

I'm definitely in for a meet here. Even though I don't have my car, it would finally be nice to meet some more of the VT 240 guys, put some faces with names/screennames. So as long as it's in April sometime, I will be there. I'm kinda tied up the rest of the weekends in march.

alright, this is turning out better than i thought. i've got two problems... it can't be the 26th, its my prom night; and i don't know where to have the meet. all the parking lots are usually full... bookstore would be outa the question... any place you guys hang out that has a big parking lot or enough for us? and i'm thinking we have the time about 5:30 or 6:00. i've gotta drive an hour and a half. plus i'll be staying at Phesant Run with my sister. so i'm open for suggestions.

i wouldn't really want to meet up at target or walmart. mainly cuz it's usually pretty busy around there. the food lion parking lot or hardee's parking lot in blacksburg would prolly be better.

I was thinkin if we wanted something to do we could check out this go-kart place in Salem. Its called Thunder Valley Go-Kart. I called today and they have indoor track/tracks and I guess a big outdoor track. They are open from 11am-11pm on Sat and the outdoor track opens up at 5pm. Apparently they have other crap there too like laser tag and video games and whatnot. Anyway it would be something to do (not to mention we can take Ironto to get out there;) ). The recording said it was $3.50 a ride and rides last 3 and half minutes. Anybody ever been there? Cool? S.h.i.t.t.y? What do you guys think?

Oh yea just to be clear we are shooting for Saturday April 12 right?

yea, one of my suitemate told me that this place isn't that great. I think he said it has a small indoor oval track and the outdoor track is just a little bigger. But I think I may check this out one week to see if its just him.

Nismo240SX, does you sister live in the dorms? i thought she lived in pheasant run like you previously mentioned. well either way, getting to hardee's is really easy. i assume you're coming from the pheasant run next to CP (college park. for you new ppl it's now known as the village at blacksburg). just get on tom's creek going toward the math emporium/macado's. you'll pass both of them and there's a stop light on price's fork. it's to your right. can't miss it. there's also a bank next to it.

just as a sidenote for those that care: the tech car club is having a car show on the 13th (sunday) from 9am-5pm. it'll be held on the commuter lot and they're gonna have a dyno there too. i'm not sure if you have to sign up early to get in on the dyno tho.

well, i'm staying the 13th at tech too anywho... i'm bringing my girlfriend... so we might go shopping sunday just to keep her happy, but if she doesn't care, which she probably won't i'll go up there. but yeah, my sister lives at Pheasant Ruins, so yeah somebody can meet me up there... i live an hour and a half away... and i get off work at 4 so... whatever time you guys want. i hope to see all of you there.
