okay, so my brother borrowed my 240 and when he did he threw a rod out the side of the block. so i'm currently stripping the ka24 of everything and about to be selling it on ebay.
i bought a replacement motor the s14 sr20det its on its way tomorrow, and i was wondering what kind of wiring problems i would run into, if i would run into any at all.

This search BS is to much on this site sometimes.

Yes everything has been done to a 240 so every question asked you could say SEARCH it's already been done.

Yes some questions are really stupid and the search post should be used.

But this seems like a legitimate question. If someone could point him to the thread that has the info, that would save him a lot of time.

I know when I was doing my swap, searching seemed to take for hours.

Here is a link to another thread that has all the info you need for your swap. Also in the tech section of the forums there are stickies or threads of value that stay at the top for you convienence. One of the stickies is about sr swap and wiring and it also has places where you can buy a DVD tht will walk you through the whole process. GL and enjoy the SR.

If you don't like it, don't come back. The reason why searches take so long is because people constantly ask the same questions without searching first. Zilvia doesn't get handouts, for the most part. It's like tough love. You don't learn anything if you always have the answers given to you. So you can blame the long amount of search time on people like the OP who don't do their research first.
