Ok, i know there is a problem with my subframe bushings. I get the classic bowling ball in the trunk sounds when i brake and shift mostly. Took it to a shop that doesnt have much knowledge of 240's with the replacement energy suspension inserts. Thye said they are the wrong ones. I know it is the bushing parallel to my rear wheels. any suggestions?

Those keep the outter OEM shell. - yes they are ok
Ive got completly detatched subframe bushings, and with the collars installed correctly I dont have any wierd clunks or bowling ball sounds.

The ES inserts are a Ring with 2 "paddles" on it that go into the spaces in the stock mount. Looks like you got the replacement bushings not the inserts.
Prothane look the same only black:

those work, the shop just dosnt know what their doing.
Cut out all the rubber bushing but keep the outter metal collar. Then insert.
Getting just the rubber out is a BITCH if you dont have oxy-acetalyn, not fun.

You admit the people who are planning to work on your car don't know what they're doing, yet you refuse the idea of taking it somewhere else? And that's my fault?
Interesting. I'll make sure to not reply to technical questions you may have from now on.

Lol yea douche, way to go, Russ is not the guy you wanted to have stop looking at your threads......
Good thing you came across as an ungrateful ass over his reccomending another shop. Apparently you like the sensation you get when a shop does not know what they are doing or you are geting screwed over. Maybe bending over is just your thing........

well i will say i took your response a little differently. I thought it was directed towards me like telling me to go somewhere else other than this forum. make your responses more clear. and tomorrow (friday) im taking my car elsewhere to people who know nissan well. and i guess when a mistake is made, everybody wants to hop in and critisize me. thats cool, shows character

i used z32 es bushings. Cut/melted away all rubber and collars down to bare subframe and they worked fine. It was just a little longer so less threads from the stud were used.

Come on, Chicks dig a suspension so stiff their kidneys bleed when you go over a speed bump.
And the gear whine gets them so wet...

might as well get solid everything, solid engine mounts, solid tranny bushing, solid diff bushings, solid links, solid ps steering rack bushing, seam weld car, etc.
then you can feel the surface of every road in your area till your teeth shatter. but its ok, then you can upgrade to solid teeth.

ROFL.
That was great. I totally agree. I don't see the point in doing solid bushings in a daily driver. I'm currently running Nismo diff and subframe bushings. I love em. Noticeably better than 14 year old OEM bushings , but not too harsh that I develop internal bleeding.
I'm really a big fan of ES poly bushing replacements for pretty much any bushings. Stiffer and better but doesn't ruin your cruising days.
My .02 cents.

Well played sir...
This one girl I dated about 5 years ago really loved my car. The exhaust sound, "cute spoiler", went with me to the 1st JGTC in Fontana.
Yeah I'm married to her today.
Nuff said.
