I bought two sylvania bulbs for my 95 s14, they busted w/in months. DON'T buy these bulbs!!!

I have a kouki conversion w/ 97 headlights, and wondering which bulbs i could buy to give it an ultra white projection.

Any brands you can recommend

Geez, I didn't know those "HID" bulbs had such ****ty lifetimes....I've always read how they lasted forever.

Real HID bulbs do last a long time. its the bulbs that you buy to get the 'HID' look that dont last for dick.

I've had my PIAA Xtreme White bulbs for almost 2 years now. They still work like new.

I just put in some POS APC ones, because that was the only kind of H-1 bulb Autozone had at the time. They're better than my dying stock ones.

Make sure you dont get oil or dirt on the bulb and dont touch the glass either.... I know cheap bulbs dont last a darn and always burn out, but oil and dirt make them actually burst... my 2 pennies ( sell about 3 sets a day... have much experience and I dont use them either...but if you have to get some buy the good brands ie piaa koito etc....)

Raybrig HID part #RR45 (h4)
Brightest bulbs youll find.
I use to have Piaas , and their light out put does not compare to Raybrigs!
12v60/55w 125/120w
Had them for about a year now , and no problems!

Raybrig and PIAA are the better two of the many. Yea, I would probably stay away from the Kragen/Pep Boys type Sylvania bulbs. I would probably get PIAA....but I LOVE my HID's! woot!
