Urethane is the one that should be purchased, because it's by far the most durable.

Yeah, other company's make fiberglass copies. The best thing from an OEM would be Urethane.

yes, urethane is the best choice but how many people are gonna say "i'll definitely buy it if it comes out" and when it does they have an excuse for not buying the bumper because they dont want to spend that much money or dont have that much to spend.

i'm not saying the price is out of the ordinary because that's how much a kouki 180SX front bumper and accessories is in the range after all necessary items are purchased. i'm just saying that i dont think that as much people that say they will buy the bumper when it comes out will actually do so for being broke or other reasons.

its great to see Nissan still wanting to produce items that people actually want for older cars like ours.

even IF its high quality, in the end, its still fiberglass. its like saying high quality fat chicks. out of these choices, urethane is def the way to go

I vote for carbon kevlar because that would be very durable while keeping weight at a minimum. Also it would be madd baller.

How about an S15 chassis reproduction instead?

They should make a Kouki 180SX bumper without the license plate frame.

And yes on the urethane.

The fiberglass looks great to me, but then I haven't seen it in person at this point. I have my past experience with Corvettes to draw on only.

Can someone explain why I should not buy fiberglass? Any pictures?

urethane, should make it for S14 as well, and shave/delete the licence plate square cutout. i'd buy it for sure

02-14-2009, 02:12 PM
urethane like the pignose, right? :)

ABS plastic will crack and shatter much easier than urethane.

urethane of course

that why i'd go oem over some replica

also a reason why shineauto is so attractive

I would say, yes on the urethane but at a very very affordable price then they can make the fiberglass a little cheaper then the cost of the urethane and they would be set. My .02 cents

I like that Nissan took notice.

Just now....

Why Carbon-Kevlar?

It's more expensive and heavier. We don't need the tensile strength of 1000 midgets in our body parts.

I hope its not of those things that are set to be released in 2020 or something

+1 for urethane

Since Nissan is owned by renalt, I feel they should stop focusing on the 240sx and just bring
The 5gt turbo back, and bring the clio v6 to the states

SWAT Team S14

instead of Renault bringing the clio here Nissan just needs to make the s15 for the united states, would blow gt86 sales out of the water.
yes for urethane

yup, i would as well.

I'd sell my 13 and all the parts I've collected, to buy one too. You can't go wrong, with a brand new S chassis. Especially a 15.
