4:38 and only 17.5MB :o The quality suffers a little. I'm going to re-render it tomorrow for a little more quality. It looks ok on some parts of the video but others, it just looks horrible. But, if you are bored and would like to download the video, here it is. I had a lot of fun making this one. I'm thinking of changing the second song.

I'm going to change the last song to something else and make it go along with the song, like the first half of the video. 2/3 of the way through, it just seems like it falls apart, to me. Finally done watching the video, I feel I have aged a lot. Anyway nice vid, and nice drifting, I am bad at keeping long drifts, any tips?

I suggest you raise the brightness when you capture the vid.

BTW are you using the steering wheel, or are you good with the analog sticks?

i use steering wheel since the first time i got the game
i never mastered drifting using analog sticks LOL
long drift? hmm.. keep the car sideways by rapidly pressing gas pedal back and forth...
at least thats what i did :D

Are you guys talking about when the view is far away, cuz GT3 makes it so it seems as if you are there, and when the car is far you can't hear anything, but the closer it is the louder it is.

Well according to Gamespot it says it will be out in late 2003 in Japan, so give it a couple of months after that. Prolly before summer 2004.

GT4 will have online so expect some online drift sessions by then, and I will have my steering wheel by then too.

Well I have been debating wether or not to get an XBOX. Mainly for Splinter Cell since my comp sucks and I like consoles better. Anyway how is Project Gotham, I played the older one for DC, but how does the XBOX one drive? I love GT3 and got really used to it, tried playing Sega GT on friends XBOX, and I just can't get used to it, same with the Rally game, although I love that game, but not used to it either.


EDIT: About editing, I did mention it in this thread somewhere, we use Sonic Foundry's Vegas Video 3.0. DL it off of Kazaa and follow the crack directions, if you have problems PM me, it's kinda picky about how you use it.

The physics in Project Gotham are well done. It is far from GT3 as far as game play (read: tracks, car choices, tuning, etc), but it's good, and addictive. Need to get a wheel and tear it up though. I wasn't real fond of Sega GT, it doesn't play right to me. Tom Clancy's Splinter cell and Ghost recon are good enough reasons to own an X-Box both games are killer. Though I still play my PS1 for my GT2 fixes.

I have Ghost Recon for Game Cube. It wasn't worth the $50 I payed for it, but it is fun in co-operation mode and I think that's why I bought it (after I rented it for PS2). The game is really cheaply made but it has better graphics than the one for PS2. I like Medal of Honor for PC. That's my type of FPS.

Another game I bought was Time Splitters 2 for $30. It also has co-operation mode. Nothing like having a friend help you out rather than the normal 2 player deathmatch.

Sonic Foundry's Vegas Video 3.0 is amazing. After I downloaded it, I went straight to the site to get more details about what all it can do and possibly buy it. But it was $430 on sale :( Didn't buy it.

mine came out at 113MB (original)
then lowered the quality... and got 40MB...
later.. i compress it to 34 MB... and thats the best i can do...

hmmm, is there a certain codec I am supposed to dl other than divx, cuz your sound works fine, but the video is like moving really fast, the video ends quickly but the sound keeps playing.

What did you use to compress it, i think we need to dl a codec that works with the compresser.

Nice drifting though, although it seems like someone was holding the Fast Foward button.

When you render the video, you are compressing it into the file type you choose (.wmv .avi .mpg .mov) If you put it into a zip file, it wouldn't compress it by much.

Kidynomite, I found an .mpg plugin for Vegas Video but I need to find a serial number. I like the .mpg files much more.

I've only played MOH online once, I'm not too bad but I got my ass kicked sometimes. I'm good at the single player but playing against 8 other live people can be tricky. I'll need some practice before I play against you. :cool:

The most powerful car in the game (escudo pikes peak)
is always on peak turbo power.
Isn't that impossible???? I mean, doesn't the turbo have to spool up?

I am pretty sure for rally cars the misfiring system (the flames) keeps the car spooled when shifting, plus that car is just nuts.

im a newbie at the editing though...
im now working on gt3 twin drifts with my friend (he drifts with d-pad controller)
hopefully we can get some good shots out of that
