Make it fit. It fits.
Do what you've gotta do.

What do you mean by you rewrapped the harness?

he probably means tearing off the old wrapping and attemping to rewrap it tighter
isnt the fender harness just wrapped tightly basically in electrical tape

Yup.
If you wrapped it tighter, there wouldn't be any room for the harness to "flatten out" when you put the fender over it.
Next time I have the fenders off the car I'll take a pic of mine, since everyone who has asked this same question seem to be clueless on how to do it right, and this is like the 3rd or 4th thread on this that I've replied to in the last few months.

Take off the plastic lining and use electicial tape. Do it as high as you can and then start your fender install. Its hard as hell to fit, I know I did mine a month ago. But it fits. I started with the bolts in the engine bay and worked my way down.

yeah i re wrapped it just because a few wires were exposed. (not the actual metal). i guess i'll go home and try again. i even notched that pinch weld so it would be flatter.

My fender did not fit either. I ended up relocating it to the engine bay, and I am happy I did.

pretty much you just cut, reroute, and extend if you have to. Or you can unplug everything and reroute. Your choice.

hmm... ide rather not re route it i'll see if i can get it to fit. maybe i'll unwrap all the wiring and flatten them out a bit?

i used a hammer and hit it flat, but my fender dosnt fit perfect anymore either, but a lot of 240s are like that.

Unplug it at the big white plug under the driver side kick panel, along with a few connectors around the steering column. Then just move it to the engine bay and pull it through the triangular hole by the clutch cylinder, and connect everything back up.

I didnt even take my fender off to do it. I just cut the zipties bent the metal lip down stuffed the harness up there and hammered the lip back up. Works fine.

That is straight ghetto.
Why would you want to do that instead of taking off like 5 bolts?

get wide front fenders
Fits about the same man.
And you don't need wide front fenders to fit it. Stockers work fine.

I have wide fenders - and it was a bitch. Its the height of the loom - not the width.
Jeb... U suck

Seriously. How many threads do we need on this? There was just one bumped the other day, that was linked above, that I posted in. I thought this was that one till I clicked it and couldn't find my posts. I'm not one to bash normally, but seriously, it was basically the SAME FUCKING THREAD. Fender not fitting, blah blah blah.
You're doing it wrong!
