I know a few other companies make these extensions. We had prototype made a few years back and the project was put on hold. So We were re-arranging the warehouse and came across this. I am just curious to see how many people would actually take interest and what kind of design suggestions you guys come up with as well as pricing. The one in the photo is 4 inch Titanium. I know some of you with aero have exhausts that come up short.

Could you make something for the stock exhaust?

+1 on stock extensions

but the one that you have...make it a straight tip extension that cater to most n1 style exhaust (~4.5 diameter)

NOO! make me a ti tip for my 4in exhaust. I would so buy one just a burnt tip 4in inlet 5in outlet.

Thanks to all of you for the suggestions! It seems that making extensions for an OEM exhaust would be a bit more difficult since you would most likely have to weld it on unless you wanted to drill holes in your exhaust to use a silencer whole style mounting method like traditionally used in most exhausts.
*What have you guys come up with for Pricing?
*Take materials into consideration as well. Titanium or Stainless?

Well, I know Apex'i sells a similar product, for their N1 style exhausts.

Their's is just a straight tip with the titanium burnt tip effect, 1 for 115mm tip and 1 for 90mm tip, with an MSRP for $69. I believe they said the whole tip itself is made of titanium as well.

If you have something similar for less than that, you might have a market, or go for something different, like the "storm drain" style that turns down like the one in your first post for around the same price.

if you did one for my 4in id pay whatever and stainless with a burnt tip? that would satisfy lots of people cause its only a tip so doesnt have to weigh nothing like ti but still looks appealing.

Cut that thing and reweld it instead of just bending it, Ill definitely buy one. I got a Buddy Club exhaust thats just dying for a different tip, maybe even a dual.

We are thinking of remaking some different styled and sized tips to accommodate most exhaust styles. 4 inch 4.5 inch, any one for a 3 inch extension maybe for you guys with dual 3inch? We are trying to stay within the 45-55 dollar range, perhaps less if it is possible.

LOL @ 1 mile.

That's a surprisingly realistic profile view of a stock exhaust.

I will take the one you have pictured!! I need one for the exact reason as the guy above. My tip will not clear the aftermarket bumper and will need an extension. How do you suggest mounting it? I was hoping to use a Tbolt clamp to hold in place. I dont want to weld on my expensive Greddy one. I like the turn down too! Would you be willing to sell that one you have? My tip is 4" as is. Thanks!

i would buy one for sure. I dont really care about ti and other expensive metal. I just want something to extend my 4.5" tip, its sunk in on the factory bumper. I wanna extend it a foot or so. Or maybe make something that turnes a 4.5" tip to a 5" or 5.5" or hell even a 6".
