I recently did a ka24e swap into my 89 hatch..i was having trouble starting my car because the car wasnt grounded well an fixed that problem. But now when i try an start the car , it sounds like its going to start but it dosnt, someone told me that probably the fuel lines wernt connected right. I switched them an know it still acts like its going to start n back fires.. Plz help! Should i try switching the fuel lines again? Plz help!

so what could be the reason for the backfire?

Set your timing to where it should be. Then go from there

there might have been a lil fuel in the lines that got in, but after that you didnt have gas or you pump died.
