S13 with RB25 transmission, electrical not cable type
not RB20/KA transmission, KA speed sensor VSS is different from the RB25/26, Z32 speed sensors, they are a lot longer

I've searched on several forums but no "definitive" answers for specifically the S13 chassis

speedometer works but it's off
supposedly z32 VSS speedo works

can anyone with a S13 using the RB25 transmission tell me how they got their speedo to work without buying the dakota digital speedo robot thing

for some reason i think there something with a maxima sensor or something that makes this work, but i dont know for sure. A fried of mine has a RB25 setup in his S13 and i think i remember him saying something about this.

i think z32 works?

edit - z32 works for my buddy... its not completely accurate tho. he had to adjust his cluster or somethin

The maxima tach makes the tachometer work. You need to consult rb forums on nicoclub. Do a search and you'll find your answer in a heartbeat!

speedo needs to be recalibrated. lsauto.com sells calibrated tachs/speedo's for rb swaps.

agree with searching rb forums on nicoclub. its been asked/discussed tons of times on there

We have used the NA Z32 Speed Sensor.

We have used the Dakota Digital converter box to dial in the calibration.
