Also, I dont think the CHP or Police have an SS. What they do have is a Z28 9C1, which is their fastest patrol car.

Last Summer on the Mass Pike I almost swirved off the road when I saw a C5 Vette (unmarked) with blues pull over speeder in front of me...

Hah you guys make it seem like all cops over in J-land get an r34...heh I dont think many of them even get guns. In my town, Takamatsu, they all drove Toyota Echoes (whatever they are called over there) One yelled at me on the PA not to jaywalk because it was dangerous :D

I believe those are Z28s, the state trooper station in greensboro is right up the street from my house... At any rate, it beats the hell out of the turbo 4 cylinder mustangs they ruined back in the early 90s

LOL, ahhh the SVO, Ford's answer to Japan, haha. But I also think that the Camaros are Z28s because I've seen quite a few around the Golden Gate and on I-5.

Yeah, and it kinda makes sense seeing as how I couldn't fathom them springing for the SS when they won't fix the damn roads.

In chicago they have a couple mustangs with small red flahsers in the back. It's kind of stupid, if one of those things pulled up behind me with it's little flashers, and I hadn't seen them before I would think twice before pulling over.

i know the hood scoops appeared on really recent Z28s, but what about the flip-lip in the rear wing? i thought only SSes had those.... there is a freaking trooper station near NCSU campus so i could check it out in the next day or 2 :D

i've seen a new generation impala as a CHP here in sacramento on I80...looks a little like that black n white skyline because of the round lights in the back...

from what i remember, they have undercover Monte Carlo's over in Virginia. at least, that's what i saw from the Michief 3000 DVD.

we have some small depts in NC use current-gen Impalas (crappy FWD :D) but not many (mostly campus cops and small towns)... they have all sorts of sneaky unmarked cars... Yukons, Explorers, an 80s Suburban with big tires, even a Grand Marquis with geezer vinyl roof!

Hmm never saw those stangs, what year? I always see a Z28 cop.

There are pics of a bunch of other cop cars in japan, cars include RX7s, GTOs (300GTs), and some other cars.

Although those cars are prolly ones you rarely see. Most cop cars in Japan are slow POS, or at least they look like slow POS.

And either way I think Italy would own all, they have some crazy cars. Seems every car manufacturing country uses some top of the line cars as high speed chasers.
