On my s14, I removed the mudguards, however will keeping them on prevent rust? If so, how should I seal the area the mudguards are contacting the body panel?

I live in a very salty place.

I know myhatch had some on the fronts and i took them off and there was a shit ton of rust already,

nothing makes your car immune salt (well close to nothing)

Chipgaurd. Put a thick coat of it on after sanding/priming the area.

The only thing that will prevent rust is if you sell them to me!!! :) (seriously I do want them PM me)

Hahaha Free Rust I'll Take 2!! :) . That's what I get for typing when i'm tired as crap. I do mean the Mud flaps...not the rust...I have a 2 square ft spot where my battery was that i'm struggling with right now...I hate rust :(

Ugh.

Any quality autobody supply store. It's an SEM brand, there are other manufacturers of similar product but I wouldn't trust them. SEM is the only thing I stand behind.

As for mudgaurds, I have a rear pair of S14s if anyone's interested.

They were sold as a set, dealer option, about $120. I've seen a lot of Koukis only run rears since the fronts won't fit with the sideskirts. My old blue car had a full set that I painted to match, much like the Z33s do, it looked really good.

I'll double check the fronts next week but I know for certain I have rears.

or rinse your inner wheel openings with water after every time you drive

My S13 has had the mudflaps on since it was new. There is no rust behind them.
