well let me tell u whats going on, i just started my car tonight getting ready to leave work, when all the sudden the car started to misfire. now im a technician so i thought it was a coil, but then it cleared up. then it came back and then the tech dropped out but the car was still running at 800rmps with smooth idle and had no miss. So then i shut the car off and then i started it again, now i have a tech reading and a miss that sounds like more than one cylinder. i was thinking cas(cam angle sensor) or maf or igntior. i hope some one has the same problem or a solution. sorry to tell u but its a sr not a ka. and unplugging the maf does not really tell u anything because the pcm has a fell safe mode. alll the injectors are plugged in, i tapped on then to see if it was sticking no luck. and no tech i would say a cas but i dont want to go guessing and throwing parts at it and not fix the problem.

it could be your mafs. unplug it and restart the car. If the car runs, your mafs is busted ^

check your fuel injectors or the plugs going into your fuel injectors.

also check your timing, vacuum leaks, clean MAF, clean IACV, Seafoam, Replace o2 sensor, spark plugs, wires, distro cap and rotor, add a couple ground wires, replace fuel filter, check for leaking stuff, disconnect battery for a day to reset your ECU.

if all the above fails. take it to someone else so they can look at it also.

Tach? as in Tachometer

"Revolution-counter" redirects here. For opposition to a fundamental change in power, see counter-revolution.
Tachometer showing engine RPM (revolutions per minute), and a redline from 6000 and 7000 RPM.

A tachometer (also called a revolution-counter, rev-counter, or RPM gauge) is an instrument that measures the rotation speed of a shaft or disk, as in a motor or other machine. The device usually displays the revolutions per minute (RPM) on a calibrated analog dial, but digital displays are increasingly common. The term comes from Greek Ταχος, tachos, "speed", and metron, "to measure".

sounds like my friends car. we checked maf, cas, leaks, injectors, fuel pump, spark plug, etc...... and nothing.... its was the old coil pack. borrow someones and check if thats your problem.

Holy hell dude we speak English here on Zilvia.
I can hardly understand what those lines of words you call sentences were saying.

Anyway Check your ECU for Codes and all your fuses.
Sounds like a coil pack also. Pull each coil one by one while the engine is running and listen for change in the idle. If idle doesnt change thats your problem cylinder.
