So last Friday I get into my car to drive home and the car won't start, I would hear a click but that would be it. All the accessories work (wipers, lights, radio, seat belt ect.) accidentally in the frustration I hit my windshield wiper and noticed it went up real slow. So I assume its something with the battery. I called for a jump start and the car fired up right away. I go home for a couple of hours and drive back to the dorms no problem. On Sunday I wanted to get some food for the super bowl and the same crap happened.
So is the battery gone?

possibly. get it tested, other wise you may have a drain on your battery

I dunno if it matters but it was running fine up until now. I mean wouldn't there have been signs that the battery was getting weak? The car would dim very slightly when I crank the car but doesn't that happen in all cars? cause not starting all of a sudden seems kinda weird.

Just go to autozone and test it, it seriously takes less then 5 minutes.

Probably a dead battery, but make sure the connection is tight around the posts.

No, because when your car is running, its the alternator powering the car, not your battery. Battery is used when the engine is not running.
Sounds like your battery isnt holding the charge, doubt its a parasitic power loss since it seems to drain the battery too soon.

Update: well I yanked out the battery yesterday afternoon and didn't even decide to take it to autozone to even test it. When I took it out I heard liquid in the battery sloshing around. So time for a new battery.

...woow, do some research... that "liquid" is the acid in the battery. when that acid mixes with the lead plates in your battery it allows current flow....its supposed to slosh....what do u think a battery is!!? seriously just go buy a new battery. its all u need. also on another note, your starter draws a certain amount of amperage from your battery, if that amperage isnt there it just wont start, and yes, this can be an all of a sudden thing. has there been low temps when it didnt start? do some research guy.

This happened to me. Often times the battery terminals would corrode too. Not sure if that is a sign of a dead battery though . Replaced battery fix the problem.
