idle problem

i have a blacktop sr20det. i recently sealed up an exhaust manifold leak but its not as bad as it use to. and when i start my car it idles up to 500 then drops quickly to 0 and dies. but when i start it and give a little throttle it gets going and stays idling low at 500, when im driving and throw it in neutral it drops to 0 and jumps back up to 400-500.

My redtop did something similar and it turned out I had a small vacuum leak on my intake manifold. If not the only other thing i can think of is your IACV is bad or TPS isnt set properly

check your ivac system also clean your mass air flow sensor and..if that dont work witch it should fuck with your idle screw a little and set your rpm up a bit
