Acura Realtime Racing is going Nissan!
I live 5 miles from Realtime in Saukville WI. And my friend just delivered 2 Nissan Engines to them. Word has it they have gotten a full sponsorship from Nissan. He doesnt know much about Nissan so he didnt know what engine it was, but Ill put my money on the 350z in the GT class.

For those who don't know Realtime has dominated the speedvision touring car series for the past 5 years at least. Peter Cunningham (the owner) has many championships driving the NSX as well as pierre klienubing in the RTR Integra type r.

Pretty exciting for us and Nissan!

I guess the acura contract ends at the end of next season so don't expect to see anything soon.

by the way anybody wanna buy my integra GSR? Its in the for sale section of zilvia. I am going to spend more time and money on my 240 and wont need the integra anymore.

Maybe I can buy one of Realtime's ITR's..........nah.

Do you think they will enter something other than a 350z in place of the RSX? IF they are replacing their NSX with a 350z then what Nissan would be the replacement for the RSX/Integras they currently run?? I am sceptical about an SE-R for that, I guess we'll see.

In my honest opinion I think they will stay with the RSX. The word around here though is that its for sale....$150,000. But I see no reason for them to rid the RSX so soon.

On the otherhand The NSX is very expensive and Acura never gave them full sponsorship like Nissan has offered them. Meaning Realtime paid for all their NSX's. As they have to buy every RSX off the lot down here in Brookfield WI. Kinda crappy for them and a big mistake for Acura.

So no wonder they jumped at the chance of a full sponsorship from Nissan. It'll do wonders for both companies! I'll try to find out the details as soon as I can.

OK guys here it is.......

The engines delivered were from the 350z! AND! I talked to the team manager today when I saw him at the gas station, I said "so what do you think Nissan?" He gave an evil smirk and said " I work for Acura dude" and he laughed

He also said that in the RSX dyno testing the numbers blew everyone away. He said they are awesome. So expect good things on Speedvision this year(the final year of the Realtime NSX)
