As some of you might remember i'm looking at daily drivers (was looking at IS300's) and i thought i'd look back to the Nissan/Infiniti world and found these, and they are getting pretty cheap.

Anyone have any input on the cars? Have any experiance with the cars?

I know these cars are pretty popular in the VIP scene in Japan but i can't find dick about people that mod them here in the states. I've foud 1 exhaust from JIC and Tanabe coilovers for it, no intakes,no headers,no nothing.

So if anyone has any information on the cars or where i could find some aftermarket support for the cars.

Thanks.:bigok:

yeah, there are 2 pretty nice ones in milwaukee for sale for about 14-15K w/40-50K miles.

i would like to do a few little things to the car, but shit seems pretty hard to find for them. I'm gonna go look at it on monday

From what i've read just changing springs is a pain in the ass, i liked the one i drove but sometimes the transmission was a little jerky. gas mileage sucks but other than that i really like them.

ooh girl, is that an automatic sedan? that'll make going to pampered chef parties so much easier. also, how many soccer balls can you fit in the trunk?

So what would you consider an Acura CL? An automatic 2 door car that can go to the pampered chef parties?

Seriously man, if you don't have anything worth a fuck to add to this thread please don't. i'd expect more from a premie.

BustedS13 - why the hate?

Flicktitty - I say go for it, I've only seen one modded over there and the guy had only aero, wheels and airbag suspension. The car was still mighty fine.

14k for those cars is OK....but I guess its dependent on the region.

I have a M35x and LOVE IT...if you find a M35 (or M45) for a similar price, go that route instead.

Not a Jag fan sorry.

And about the newer body sytle that would be pretty nice too but still a bit too much.

it was between a Q45,M45,IS300.etc..

The M35X is the AWD version correct?
They made a M45X? didn't know that.

i was also thinking of the G35 Sedan....... but idk about that.

i was very close to buying one until i found out the motors are oil burners. its a very common problem read up on it. the q45/m45 had the same motors in those years. if you are planning to buy one as a DD think twice you would be better off getting that is300.

Yes its AWD, but if you're looking to mod the car...go for the RWD model due to available suspension mods.

The M45x is only for the current gen and way out of your league. :keke:

What year G35? I drove the current gen (07- ) and it's mighty fine. I actually wanted it over my M35x, but I couldn't justify paying $5K more and having no in-dash navi.

go test drive it and decided. i had a friend was gonna buy one but he changed his mind after test drove and picked up a 03 350z instead. he realized he really rather wants the sporty feeling and not the big and stable driving experience.

The 03-04 M45 is in the running for my next car. It's competing with a 03-04 G35.

I say get one. I love the lines.

Very common on the 2003. Check that other nissan forum *hint* the oil rings on the pistons dont seal or somthing to that affect and cause the motors to fail. It's and issue that's more common than uncommon. I too was considering the M45 but now totally switch gears and want to go the SC300/400 or S14 route again. But, if I would go the grocery getter route ide spend some extra coin and do a 5 series BM, Jag Xtype-R, or S Class.
