There are more kinds of skyline dubs out there. Do a google search, or go to skylinegtr.com. Hell, there might even be some on ebay (www.ebay.com) But be prepared to sell your kidneys when you go to buy them. And why are YOU asking US what YOU want?

R32 non-turbo wheels are exactly the same as S13 7-spokes (4 lug).

R32 GTSt Type-M wheels have 5 fat spokes that curve slightly outward, 16x6.5, silver finish, 5 lug

R32 GT-R wheels have 5 fat spokes that curve slightly outward, 16x8, gunmetal finish.. some R32 GT-Rs also had BBS mesh wheels, those are 17x? (9 I think) and very rare.

R33 GTS25t Type-M wheels look like S14 SE wheels but are wider (16x7)

R33 GT-R wheels have 10 spokes (5 pairs), 17x9, bright silver paint

R34 25GT-t wheels have six skinny spokes, 17x?, silver paint

R34 GT-R wheels have six skinny spokes, 18x?, gunmetal paint

Thanks

And before the next question comes... they will clear Z32 brakes and coilovers (somewhat dependant on what coilovers you have). The other 2, R33 and R34, have problems with coilovers sometimes, so many people run 5mm spacers.

also the R34 GT-R Bolt pattern isn't to as comman as most other cars ... 5 on 4.5"

BTW how bad is rub when running the 18's man it looks close the GT-R runs 18's but still has a heathly looking gap. with the look of the 17's that looks a close as i'd be willing to attempt it

wtf are you taling about? GTR r34 is same as s14, s15, s13 gone 5 lug, r33, r32.. and most other nissans that are 5 lug

what do you mean?????

rubbing has NOTHING to do w/ 18s. it matttesr on offset, width and tire choice

i think you need to get educated

yes, you need to practice the math

114.3 mm is same as 4.5"

you can see here

GREAT! i screwed up glad to know that people can be such helpful assholes in such cases, i made a mistake, and i really didn't think it called for someone so high and mighty as i'm sure you are dissing me instead of simply pointing that fact out and correcting me i mean why start dissing someone that made a honest mistake and dropping down to their "uneducated" level.

GREAT! i screwed up glad to know that people can be such helpful assholes in such cases

i dont think moose needs anymore misinformationto confuse him. the guy wnats to get some wheels he digs, give him wrong info and he'll either gett the wrong pattern or get scrwed all together.

and if your taking it personally you need to relax
you shouldnt start saying stuff you dont know enough about.
gotta learn about your cars offsets, sizes that fit, what clears what and bolt pattern
why? because you can buy certain wheels from domestic guys

point in case. i picked up a full set of brand new condition 16x7 0 offset black silver lipped riken mesh for 200. why no one else did? it was listed at 4x4.5, everyone was looking at 4x114.3.

gotta know your car in and out if you want to get deals as well as not look like a fool and get harassed by people like me. im brutal and take no pity on newbs or old timesr. ask anyone here. im not talking about of my ass (99% of the time that is)

ight sorry, i'm um fiesty .. but then if there was no diffrence in the lug patterns why advertise it as "skyline only"? cuz i'm liking those those bronze ones.. btw how you switch a 4 lug to a 5 lug? is it an adapter or a total part swap?

Dousan_PG
02-23-2003, 12:51 AM
because the wheel offset would be a skyline offset. GTR probably specific. GTRs can fit wider wheels and lower offsets on stock fenders.

youll find as you look for a lot of wheels, people will catagorize it sometimes as "skyline offset" meaning if you want to use it a s13/14 you'll need to flare fendres/roll fenders or negative camber it.

offsets are the key to any wheel purchase. it can separate a wheel that looks great on a car to a wheel that's a sunken in POS looking wheel. could be same wheel too. offset makes the wheel good/bad.

example:
super lip low offset
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid52/p1caedc437ec0c04c15f67a2f8356ad50/fc9943e6.jpg

negative camber and rolled fenders fix ANY problematic wheel imho. best think you can do w/ a stock car is ROLL THE FENDERS.

do search on 5 lug
i assume your s13?

find th eoffset of that wheel first

basically run down is (use search mode)
front:
s14 hubs, spindels
redrill rotors or go s14 rotors/calipers
s14 ball joint presssed in s13 LCA
drill larger spindle hole to allow for s14 botl on shock

rear:
s14 rear hubs or z32 NA rear hubs. redrill rotors or go s14 brakes/rotors etc

that's the QUICK run down. as i said, verify w/ search mode

also serach under

five lug swap

must spell out 'five' (5) to get results

dont use 4-5 adapters, i've heard of them breaking and totalling one guys car. yes its has happened, but the driver is also believed not to regularly retorque the adapter. so that played a roll in it.

ahh sucks
good luck to you.
my advice: just have paitience, i wish i did. i wouldnt have a burgundy s13! instead a white one. oh well, live and learn. car will probably end up totalled anyways.
