hey kids. i have a question. im in the process of doing another SR swap but to save a little cash, ive decided not to get the stock SR ECU  big mistake? lets hope not.

i bought a RED top SR for pretty cheap and i checked out the motor and tranny and everthing seems to be in excelent shape. the only thing tho is that the motor is lacking the ECU and the wires are somewhat cut. ok so anyways. i was wondering about BLITZ Access or the Mines ecu. would this be a good setup or should i just stick it with the stock S13 ECU? cuz to tell you the truth i have no idea what these ECUs do or if they are any good. the only ECUs ive played with are with Hondas and MAzdas. if you guys have anything please let me know. and if you know any better brands just post up.

ps- im just trying to get around 300 to the wheels. or s14 turbo FMIC, 550cc injectors, raditor and a bunch of good stuff. boost at 12 psi.

holla

The problem w/ the Mine's is that they were programed for someones car. I.E. someone specified their mods and dyno'd it to find the best setup. You will never know what was on that particular car.

If your car is not exactly like one it was on before then you will have a modded ecu that won't work well in your car
