I usually am able to find the answer to the problem by searching but there could be so many problems that I could use some help.

History:
Car is a 95 Auto - Stock everything with a new water pump and 140k on the odometer. A few days ago the temperature gauge started to get hot and then a moment later would go back down, so I figured it was the thermostat. Went to Autozone and replaced it.

I let the car idle for a good 30minutes and the temperature stayed normal so I took it for a test drive - Less than a mile away the temperature spikes and I'm real close to home so I get back and let it cool off. While waiting I hear it gargling and noticed that everything in the engine bay looked soaked with antifreeze.

I let the car sit for a few days because It was too cold outside to work on. Then I tried to crank it and it only turns over.

First, I go ahead and check the oil and it didn't look milky.

Second, I checked the spark plugs and they were firing and smelled of gas

Then I check the ecu for codes and received :
11 Crank angle sensor circuit
34 Detonation sensor circuit (I had this one from some time ago)

Went ahead and cleared the codes and tried to start the car again then received:
55 No malfunction in the circuits

But, I go ahead and check out the distributor's wiring to the ecu and its good - Open it up and hook up to a volt meter then spin the distributor - its good as well.

So I go ahead and do a compression test and got these numbers without the car being warmed up or at WOT.
150, 135, 149, 152

I have also tried to start the car without the fuse for the fuel pump to make sure it wasn't flooding itself and got nowhere.

Went ahead and put everything back together and checked the ECU for codes and 34 Detonation sensor circuit popped up again.

Figured it was the head gasket so I tore the engine down and this is what it looked like.

Looks like many of the cooling openings were clogged but I don't think the head gasket was blown.

If anyone has any idea's please let me know - School starts up this week and this is my DD.

Thanks in advance!
