Hey guys, I got a friend in japan and he's trying to get me an ac bracket and ps bracket from nissan but he needs a vin number for a blacktop sr equipped vehicle for them to look it up. I know if sounds shady to ask for a vin, but can anyone tell me how I would come up with a general/example vin for one of these cars? Thanks in advance.

Find someone with a Blacktop S13 half cut.

Probably trying to use the fast system to look up parts and failing miserably.

yeah, i've seen that ps bracket but it doesn't come with the tensioner. Also, just figured it would be easier to get them straight from nissan. Yeah, I'm sure they're using the fast system... but I know there is probably a bit of a language barrier as well. I'd like to find someone with a half cut, but I don't come across too many of them here in KS, lol. Thanks for the responses.

well they dont exacly speak engish at the dealerships either, At least not at the ones i went to, and alot more complex than a junk yard unless you can get them to break out the IPB Book.

For the junk yard all ya gotta do is ask them (im making this as simple as i can think of)

konichawa, 180SX, S R ne-Ju akari-mah-shta.

They will respond Hai (yes) or eai or chi-gaow (no)

then respond Doko (where?)

then if you find it ask E-ka-ra-des-ka? (How much?)

as far as asking for power steering bracket i dont know the word for it
