OK, I need new busings to mount my rear subframe (rear bushings especially), I was wondering if there is a place that sells polyurethane so it can take a bit more abuse than stock. Nissan does not even sell the stock ones without the entire subframe assembly except in a high performance edition, which is around $250 for the all four. Any suggestions would be helpful as the clunk when I shift is begining to get annoying. Thanks

300ZX (Z32) subframe bushings are the same as S13/S14 ones. That said...JWT carries poly subframe bushings, etc. They are going to be a pain to install...since you have to burn/cut out the old bushings. I did it on the suspension members and it was a huge pain...and those are at least manageable.
But spacers will probably fix it well enough. Many people (myself included) have used washers for the spacers...others have bought the Whiteline kit.

If I were to use regular washers, what size should I get, how many, and how does the install go? I think I remember seeing a post with a web site a long while back on this, but I could not find it in search. Thanks.

16 washers, 2 on top, 2 on bottom at each point. 3" or 3.5" OD, 1.5" ID, I think. You'll need to cut the washers some, too.
There should be a thread on zilvia with a link to some pics that show where to cut...do a search.
