im in the middle of installing my T3/To4e on my rb25det, and was wondering if anyone can suggest the easiest way to have it water cooled? is there an adapter that can retain the stock water lines or do i need a new custom line? if i do, what size fittings/lines would i need?

Does your turbo even have provisions for water lines? My T04E didn't, oil only. If you are going to use them the easiest way would be to get some braided lines.

My thought exactly - you can't water cool an oil-only turbo, but that's OK because an oil cooler and a turbo timer work just as well.

If it is water cooled, you'll want to make SS lines - most likely its M14x1.50 thread on all sides, use -8AN line. Shouldn't cost more than $100.

Yea just do what the before guy mentioned.

You'll need:

x2 - M14x1.5 -> -6 or -8 AN Fittings for the block
x2 - Water Fittings for the Turbo
x2 - -6 or -8 AN Lines

I am not sure what the thread pitch on the block is for the stock OEM RB Block for the coolant lines, but whatever that is you'll need to get some fittings to convert form that to a -6 or -8, whatever the T04E Coolant fittings end up being.

i think i found the size for the block fittings but im looking if anyone knows for sure, what size the turbo fittings would be so i can buy the fittings for it

Take the turbo to the hardware store with you??

Yeah if you don't have "known size" fittings, or calipers to measure, we can't really help you.

do they make some kind of adapter to go from the factory water line banjo fitting to the different size on the turbo?

Doubt it. Braided lines ftw. Like it was suggested, take the turbo to the hardware store and match a fitting to the thread size.

Haha not like your thinking. You could get banjo fittings for new lines, but why would you?

Get a M14x1.50 fitting, and see if it fits. That's what most water fittings are.

after some poking around on the net, and talking to people, i found that enjuku sells exactly what i need. Full oil and water, return and feed lines for rb25det, To4e. all for under $140. just a heads up. might be worth contacting if you have some turbo setup that needs lines.
