You should have got insurance lol also I think you can take it to walmart has a 90 day return policy thing only thing that sucks is that you will lose all your saved files

My buddy's xbox did that to COD3 the first time he played it, microsoft replaced the disc free- it never ruined another disc after that though.

Yeah, I'm with them, start at Wal Mart with proof of purchase and you should be able to exchange for a brand new one.

See I played it smart and went out a got the 120gig hd for 150 bucks then got a xbox arcade for 200 bucks so I ened up paying 50 bucks more then the 60 gig xbox. But every 2nd or 3rd month I take the xbox to target and return it and get a new one. That way I dont lose my save files and If anything was to happend to the xbox I have 3 months to return it even if I get the 3 ring

Yeah they are pretty good with their customer service just take it back to walmart and they'll give you another one as long as it hasn't been 90 days so your good since it happened last month...

Yeah but if he has a lot of saved stuff like his game files he will lose it all if they exchange it at walmart
If you have the 60gig xbox just save the game to your hd that way they wont fuck up. I saved Left 4 Dead to my hd since that's the only game I played and whenever I play it the disc doesn't even spin

Yea, mine makes a weird off balance noise every now and then, no harm on anything yet though.
I also have a 120gb HD, so if I like the game it gets DL'd onto my hard drive. Wish you didn't have to have the disc in the drive to play it though, that part is stupid.

I agree it is stupid but it make scenes because then people will just go out and rent the game save it to there hd.

like everybody else said taking it back with proof of purchase is an easy fix. Keep the damage disc and call xbox and let them know the situation. Usually they will take of damage disc no questions asked.

Typically this is caused by the system being dropped or some kind of violent shake. Its happened to 1 of my boxs and after taking it apart and adding a spacer no problems since then.

I wouldnt waste money on an X box.... every one of my friends used to talk shit when i got my PS3 and now all of them got the red ring of death or what ever and are all getting a PS3 soon. I think ps3 is all around better system and you dont have to pay to play online....
good luck!

360 vs ps3 is like pc vs mac, amd vs intel, nvidia vs ati lol
i like ps3, pc, intel, and nvidia because most of my prior stuff have been from those. lol
So your wheels where off balance *disc* and it threw out your wheel bearings *xbox* lol
hope you get it settled.
