I'm wondering because I could use some extra cash and was wondering if online surverys are really like real that would pay you to take surveys and stuff. Has anyone ever tried it before?

ive done it, its time consuming and not a very good pay out. ( for the ones i did at least)

I think i got like 4 bucks for every person in my household.

I guess if your really hurting than its chedda, there are shit loads of them out there.

Sometimes they pay you to try different alcohalic beverages and stuff (if your of age obviously), or test out new products, those ones are pretty cool.

Some of them will pay you, but the money is not very fast unless you have A WHOLE FUCKING LOT of time on your hands to do them almost as soon as you get the email, and qualify for the survey in question.
A couple I have gotten SOME money from are SurveySpot (http://surveyspot.com) and Lightspeed (http://us.lightspeedpanel.com/US/public/index.us).
Surveyspot will send you a check when you have accumulated enough money for a payout, while lightspeed will trade points for a paypal payout, and it posts quickly.
The others I tried who have promised me money haven't given me shit, but the rewards points have gotten me shit I needed (a new basketball, rechargeable batteries for my camera, discounts/gift certificates, etc.)
Since I am at a computer at work trying to kill time in between VERY slow work, I do what I can while I am there, that makes up a major portion of the ones I do, I don't multitask them when I am home.
If you plan to try this, I STRONGLY suggest you have a Gmail account, and use your filters to put all these emails in one folder, making use of the option to automatically archive it, skipping the inbox.

I'm currently 16 and in highschool. Is there an age requirement? My parents are in a financial bind and stuff I just need money to buy me some clothes and shoes and stuff. I can't get checks in the mail since we can't get mail its not our house and stuff. I have a paypal account though, is there any you guys might recommend? I've seen a whole lot of sites. I saw the ones PHLIP posted thanks.

^Go work at Mcdonalds! If your tight on money don't be buying "big" name cloths.

It will pay you more money then surveys.

This is very true, these "online surveys" don't pay THAT much or that fast, you will have to do a TON of free ones in between the paying ones.

I've watched people do that and I've come to the conclusion that after "working" for long enough to get paid for this sort of thing, you'll find that minimum wage generally pays better. If you're really strapped for cash, you have a lot of free time, AND you can't get a job then MAYBE it's right for you.

I strongly suggest NOT doing this if you can get a job.

Yea generally the survey payouts are something like .39 to .75 per survey and they usually take about 5-10 mins to complete each one. Then you have the ones that pay like $50-$80 bucks but require you to qualify for the services.

Kind of a waste of time and VERY boring but you can use them as way to make some extra bullshit money on the side once you do have a job. On that site I recommended earlier the most I made was about $150 bucks(extra gas money hah) in a month.
