I've aquired two shells, two s14's one of which has front end damage, but a clean title, the other looks better but has a rebuilt title, the damaged is crashed forward of the shock towers , but the bumper support and bottom framerails and crossmember all that, are virtually intact, pictures would help, i know.but i've seen cars like this being repaired before, are there any hints as to what would determine too much damage ? or still repairable? , bent frames? ... cost? anyone else find themselves in a similar situation? anyone alse find thenmselves with too many projects?...lol what would be the best course of action if i wanted to repair this type of crash?...am i crazy over my head and stupid?

Anything above the rails and forward of the towers is an easy repair for someone experienced with collision repair.
The question is what you're capable of. That will decide if either is worth repairing.

I'm in a similar Situation
I bought a Running SR'd Coupe w/ alot of extra;s - turns out its Been Wrecked in 3 spots. (Driverside upper Frame rail,Pass Lower Rad support bent and somehow lower Firewall damage on Pass side (foot well area near ECU).
Jackass guy (member: Pblesh) didn't even know this when he sold it to me.:mrmeph:
Bought another Hatch for $200 - but its Been wrecked in 1 spot (Lower driver frame rail, below where Bumper support mounts) Pushed in a bit on the front.I think it can be either pulled Back (using heat & anchor Points) or just cut and re-weld a New Lower rad support and Weld it Straight to compensate.
So I Now have a Fully Gutted Coupe as a Donor and Now putting EVERYTHING into this new hatch.ALOT of work.

i have a friend who works at a body shop and he's awesome at this kind of stuff , the rebuilt title one has a broken sunroof and the rear quarter is full of bondo , i would rather fix something "myself" and have a hardtop than deal with other people's shotty work and pay for it later...

you can pull the frame once to make repairs after that any more and your asking for trouble. The integrity of frame is so weak by then. Its like a soda can you can crush it a little and keep getting a straight but once the metal has been streched and heated from the impacts it just tears up and cracks. Next time you'll be squished or really F'ed up. It can be hit like at different spots just get the frame pulled on every area all on one time.
