So i gt a call from my buddy. He says "hey i just bought an R32 GTR parts car, and im disassembling it at the owners house, ill let you have the brakes if you help me"
i say "ok ill be there around 9" i meet him at his place and we "surf" over there (he has a toyota surf).
he has a spare optima battery and says "the dudes got an R33 sitting sitting in our way, dead battery, wont start, so im bringing this over there to jump it and move the piece of shit"
well we roll up and i see this "piece of shit."
and the words out of my mouth are "uh...thats my desktop background!"
it was the Top secret R33 pictured below. i was skeptical so i ran inside and youtubed/google imaged it. matched everything up, down to the stickers, red recaros, red momo wheel.
it gets better. the dude says "hey man, im tired of the battery not havin enough juice. so why dont you take it around the block? you know, charge the battery."
LOL... so im like," alright"... i pop the hood to jump it (remote terminals) and whats sitting there? a top mount T88, next to the signature gold rocker covers.
i let it idle for a couple minutes, snick it into gear, massage the triple plate clutch and back out of the driveway. i pull out onto the main road...all 4 tires up in smoke. you cant hear the motor of course, and small birds get blown off course, as the are almost sucked into the hood vent.
im guessing by the way it accelerated, 750-900hp. ran like crap below 3500-4k of course, but when it came into boost, you had better hope there is not a car within 70yards in front.
i get back, park it, and we pull the 26 out of the 32. haha what a day.
heres the car.
the end.

Sick.
Something tells me you're not lying.
I want more pics though.
Damn guys who live in Japan. I envy you.
How'd the R33 handle? I'd imagine it'd be rather hard to control.

so...the guy asks you to take the car for a spin and you oblige him by smoking his tires....?
nice. (not that I would have done any differently ;) )
Back in the day I screwed around with a few of the Top Secret R33's when they came out to play in Yokosuka...
they got their asses handed to them by a friends FC RX-7...they never came back out our way after that for some reason.....

i daily an R33, which of course is nowhere near what this thing was but it wasnt too "far away from home".
it handled like a skateboard, probably has 12k-14k springs, i saw the sway bars, they were monstrous, and it had the huge tubular top secret strut tower connectors. so of course it 3-wheeled in and out of the driveway. i only drove it probably 8-10kms and wicked out 1st thru 3rd, snicked 4th, looked down at the speedo and it was at around 185kms so i backed out of it. ys its hard to control, the power is like a light switch that gets flipped at about 5k and it revs to about 7800.
thing was bad ass, had the inch wormed titanium turbo inlet and all the little over priced top secret in-house fabbed garb. smokey nagatas former fab-man works at a shop pretty close to my house. i watched him TIG 2 soda cans together and on top of that he has heart problems. amazing.
basically, the reason it was sitting there, i some american bought it and he is shipping it back to the states to sell it for a profit. the guys house it was at ships cars from japan to the states.
he takes the motor out, sends it in a separate containter as "parts" which is legal, then ships the car in anothe container as "parts" since it doesnt have a motor, that all it is.
he then flies to florida, to his shop in tarpon springs off US19 (FL guys know where this is, i also lived there for 20 yrs) and reassembles them, registers them as kit cars, puts FL plates on them and delivers them. total cost is around 10-11k. the dude paid about 40k for the car, 10k to ship and he'll probably flip it for 60, just because the thing is a semi-internet celeb car.

smoking tires in a car like this is like an involuntary action like a heartbeat or breathing. it just happens.

i the dude paid about 40k for the car,
Unless that's a different car than the one I know (and I'm betting it's not), that's BS. I had a chance to buy that car from the guy who paid for all the work to be done on it for $18k, and since I was saving up for a house downpayment, couldn't. He instead sold it for $22k to another guy on the base who left it under a cover for most of the rest of the time we were there (save for the times he was stalling it out and killing the engine).

Is your name Dom Toretto? Is there some high stakes street race going on? No? Lay off the drama. If you have experience in handling a high HP car, it's not an 'involuntary action'. When the original owner of that car drove it, he babied it, save for the few times he took it to the Wangan B. I followed him to Daikoku Futo the first time I went and he dropped the hammer as soon as we got onto the B - he was on top of the bridge before I could merge into traffic.
Edit: To back up my side with a little credibility, here's a pic I took of that car 4 years ago:
http://silviagirl.com/images/angel.jpg
The hood catches were obviously changed, and the CF trunk that is on it now (which is nearly impossible to tell in that top pic) was a source of much frustration on my part when he remounted the GT wing to it. I chided him for ruining that perfect CF trunk, since it made me a sad panda to see it drilled into.

no seriously though either way that car is pretty bad ass. i want.

so it runs like crap, that T88 isn't spooling until after 3500 rpms, which you would obviously need the spooling to light all 4 corners up, yet you say it's involuntary action and just happens.... don't know when the last time it was involuntary action to rev a car to 4k+ RPMs and drop the hammer... of course, I've driven a lot of fast cars and have respect I guess.

I thought this car was on EBay about month ago. But besides that, if your in Japan, why are you not hooking me up with parts, we all want to know why the Japanese porn stars don't shave down there.

Sick ass car, I'm not good at calling BS though. I wanna believe the story, but smoking the tires...I don't believe that...if I was the owner of that car and I told a guy I just met to take it for a spin around the block to charge the battery, I wouldn't be so happy that he smoked up the tires a bit. I mean it's not much harm at all, it's just the fact of a stranger driving his car.
On a side note, damn I wish I was in Japan at some point in my life.

Your lie is extremely obvious as you have no clue WTF you're talking about.
Daily driving an R33 doesn't mean dick as my B16A Civic has embarrassed a couple 33 GTSTs.

Duh....
Reason why he's not posting is that he's out doing burnouts in his 700 hp Skyline R33.
On his way to go to Up Garage so that he can pick up some JDM parts on the cheap.
Duh....
While sniffing on his air freshner from Autobacs.
Where's that guy from honda-tech that pwns/ruins peoples lives lives for doing stupid shit on forums?
Zilvia needs to sub-contract.
