what's up everyone, i'm new to Zilvia.net :) i'm a HUGE 240SX fan (specifically S13s) and have been wanting one for years to do an SR swap (and no i didn't jump on the bandwagon after Dave Coleman put his on the cover of SCC :D ). i'm also on the boards over at FreshAlloy but due to laziness I haven't posted over there much recently. I'm getting close to buying a blown-engine S13 coupe and getting a redtop since my first car (got it in high school) died (1990 Audi 90 w/ 204k miles.... didn't have enough antifreeze in the coolant and during snow it froze the engine and broke stuff  now just a little bitty bank loan and i can make myself a Silvia...) anyways i thought i'd make my first post an informative one :)

P.S. Engineers rule.

P.P.S. when i get the car, should i do a 5-lug swap/wheels/300ZXtt brakes or just get good wheels with a 4-bolt pattern and have the Z rotors re-drilled for 4-lug? it'll save some money but is it worth it to stick with a 4-lug setup? (i hate the looks of 4-lug wheels)

P.P.P.S. I was planning on getting my engine kit from Heavy Throttle, but I still want the JDM nose (well, Veilside S13 Ei (not combat crap!) nose and the projector JDM lights) and i'm having a hard time finding pricing on lamps and fenders (and a hood too). anyone know where to find that mess?

P.P.P.P.S. (last one i promise) has anyone here put the S14 K's wing on an S13 coupe? how difficult was getting it to fit?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! I lied. one more: is it true that all Canadian-market S13s have LSDs? Are they clutch-type like the SE+Hicas cars or viscous? (the car i'm looking at is a base and thus has an open diff). a good Torsen-type is like a grand ore more and a clutch or viscous would work great until i can save enough for a nice diff....

240sx factory LSDs are viscous

it really depends on if you think you can find 4-lug wheels that clear the calipers you like.. It really isn't that big of a deal these days to find redrilled rotors.. so if you can find 4-luger's go for it.. you'll savew a few hundred bucks.
