Ive been looking around on american/english speaking sites for S15 aftermarket bumpers and of course, they all say "conversion" because the US didnt get that particular car.

now are these conversion bumpers actual S15 aftermarket bumpers? do the conversions use the real thing?

the reason im asking is because i have an S15, and id like to get the chargespeed "gt" bumper or yashio factory super 840 style one for it, but i keep seeing "conversion" and im wondering if they are the same dimension as the real thing, or if they make them narrower to fit a 240sx or whatever. this is common on the skylines, because people want to put GTR bumpers on non GTR cars, which are narrower up front, so they just make the bumper identical, albeit a couple CM narrower.

chargespeed and yashio pics for views (the red sunline one looks better)

No the bumpers are s15 dimensions, because people have to use fenders etc. Its slightly wider, Im sure you can just order some s15 stuff, Id buy some Origin or something if your out there, there styling are great.

so you're asking people in america to tell you what aero to get for your s15 while in your japan...and both companies are based out of japan...couldnt you just call them and ask? or get someone to call for you?

LB is right.

When you perform an S15 conversion all the parts EXCEPT FOR THE FENDERS will be actual S15 parts.

After it was wrecked, I converted my S14 using all stock S15 parts from a couple different donor cars. My car now has the stock hood and front bumper from an S15 and fenders that were made by splicing stock S15 front fenders with my original fenders.

it was a simple ask and answer question. i wanted to know if "conversion" bumpers are the same. it has been answered. where did i ask "which" bumper i should get? show me.

i have a mailbox in california that has FREE shipping to japan, so if i find an S15 bumper in LA, it would be FREE to ship it. i do not like using my japanese address because the delivery here requires you be present, always. and i dont feel like taking a day off work everytime i order something. its fine if youre japanese, because grandma is always home. that other guy in japan knows what im talking about, the little truck with the kitten holding a box that plays music while it searches for your house lol

bumpers are rarely stocked in shops over here. they take up too much space.
