Advan RG, Good wheels?

Well, i've decided to put basically all of my incoming funds into my car this year. That means getting the CA18DET of course, but also i'm looking into getting some new coilovers and wheels. I've already settled on Zeal Function B6 coilovers, but i'm still kinda wondering about the wheels. I nearly bought a set of Advan RG's a while back. I love the looks of them, but I'm just not sure whether they're good enough. I'd be getting either 16x7.5 with a +29 offset or 16x8 with a +35 offset. I know the +29 offset would be better, so I think it's worth losing that half inch for it. Anyway, i'm babbling now, so i'll just get to the point. Has anyone on the board got these rims or know what the quality is like? I know advan rocks, but these are a bit on the cheap side for advan's (if you can call 370 a piece cheap)

Good wheels. Can't really say anything bad about them other than the styling is kinda generic now b/c of all the knockoffs.

I got my GAB's for $300 for a set of 4 but that was a once in a lifetime insane deal that will never happen again. I think I have a better chance of being struck twice by lightning or being mauled by a bear in mid-town Manhatten than getting a deal like that again.

Get them!! Advan RG are pure racing wheels. Great, great, great wheel. I would LOVE to own a set, but don't have the cash. xp

im debating whether to buy my friends set of 18" RGs with tires for 2k. I'm an Advan junkie... I still want my Advan SA3R's or Super Advan Gen II's :drool:

18" on a S13??? are you a VIP drifter...lol...but yeah...that miighht not fit oh so well...get the fender roller, blah, blah blah...

edit: just saw the FD in your profile...ack ... 18" on FD is good...just not on S13

Get the GTR offsets, people!!! Those look crrraazzzy good. Otherwise, the spoke design, imo, looks a little... weird for our cars.

17x9.5 +24... mmmm. They also have 17x9.5 +14 18x9.5 +22 and +12!!!

The "GTR" offset wheels are the ones used on the Yashio factory track cars. They look unbelievable.

Yes. it definitely the dish that makes them crazy. TE37's in 17/18 with low offsets look crazy, yo!
