Um, no. There are two wires on either fuel pump. While there's plenty more on the tank plug like the fuel level sender and power to the float, you actually have to pull the pump out first. Once out it's clear the fuel pump has just a power and ground. Wire the new pump just as the old one was.

ok i still need help... the s14 fuel pump is alot differnt. i spun the cap off and theres a long hose that lead to the fuel pump.. am i soppose to cut the hose and connect it to the z32 fuel pump? then wire it to the stock fuel pump harness? do i leave the stock one in thier or do i have to get the tank off to get to it? is it safe to cut and splice the harness inside the tank? thanks for the help..

Just make it work, make the Z32 fuel pump look and sit exactly like the S14 its easy, ofcourse the sock orientation may or may not be off but with a lil imagination its easy. Maybe later i'll post pic's or you can search I think I have a picture somewhere of how I did it with my S13.

Dude, did you hit your head? Remove the pump and bracket from the tank. Take the pump off the bracket, install the new pump back on the bracket. People usually use a long hose clamp or tiewrap to secure it. Stick the hose back on to the new pump, cut/splice your two wires from the old pump harness to the new one.
