How much hp does your car put out? Can you please state year, engine and hp. Let's see who has the most hp on this board.

Thanks! :D

yeah but I missed out and didn't get to post what I thought my car was making at the wheels since I have never dynoed it like almost everybody else here. That was suppesed to be one sentence.

let see

'91 KA24DE = 155hp
turbo = +95hp
fmic = +15hp
3" exhaust = +15hp
K&N filter = +20hp

that's 300hp at the crank.

Beat that you fellow fantasy land dynoers

Ok... since this is fantasy-dyno's with some educated guesstimations, I'll venture to say 400 crank horsepower.
Mods are in my website below.

Sadly...about 100hp to the crank :(
Eh, its an 86 prelude. Not too bad tho, only weighs around 2200lbs.

Got Sileighty?

hmmm what would be the HP (at the wheels) for a stock 91 ka24de?? i know its 155hp advertised/flywheel.

EDIT: Apparently jokes aren't allowed. 155, if I'm lucky.

Guy.. it's not fantasy dyno as in: "In your ****ing dreams"... but more like fantasy dyno as in: "Other people with the same/less mods with dyno proof.. so I'll assymilate those numbers, and if nothing else, be a little higher due to more mods."
It's not a difficult concept here.

in other words, everybody always posts stupid numbers for how much power they are making, and while I may have posted stupid reasons why my car makes 300hp, the fact remains that it does and I have the time slips to prove it, but since I haven't actually dynoed it and I guessed at a number of things, including, weight, and driveline loss, that's why it's fantasy

Besides, fantasy land is a fun place to live, some might even call it blissfull.

Ignorance is bliss, which is why I'm stressed out all the time

Well then, given all of this information, my estimated rwhp accouting for relative elevation, modifications, and a really nice coat of wax. . .

I'm prolly at about 8

In fantasy land...I am at 425 crank hp. Real life...350rwhp, dyno tested, mom-approved.

Heh: well... my car has proven 142.6 @ wheels.... so assuming my car starts at 164hp (142.6 * 1.15 = 163.99 hp, assuming 15% driveline loss). That means, if my car is pushing 8psi (which uhh.. it will be tomorrow if i feel lucky?) it's at .544atm, meaning 1.544 times as much air/ fuel is going in, and i'll assume i get that full 1.544 times as much power:

So: 253hp
+ 10hp port and polished head
+ 10hp ported manifold
+ 10hp 248deg exhaust cam
+ 10hp intercooler
+ 10hp 2.5" downpipe
= 303hp!!!

I love this fantasy bull****!!!!!

(realistically getting like 220hp if I'm lucky)

start at 155:

-20hp larger rims and tires
-20hp cause it is dirty
-40hp for a system

i hope to get a cai by the end of this week, this pesky 3 cylinder metro (stock), down the street, keeps smoking me

Except your math is wrong. If you assume 15% driveline loss, then you have 142.6/.85=167.8hp. Just check it. 164hp*.85=139.4, not your 142.6. 167.8*.85=142.6.

1996 2.8L 12v VR6, 166.8hp at the wheels.

As for my 240SX, I have no idea.

just b/c it sounds loud (removed exhuast resonator and intake resonator) doesnt mean it's powerful, i'd say closer to 135 hp give or take 5hp...

but since ur the best driver int he world and you got new floormats i'd say atleast 200hp at the wheels

here is the dyno for a s13 and s14 stock from aem ... look like us s13 have more stock horses ......

http://www.aempower.com/application/induction_application.htm
.. scroll down and find 240sx (just incase your a retard)

As far as the AEM dyno's are concerned... I don't quite know what the deal is. I know that's corrected hp, but still.. that's losing like 20-25% of the hp from the crank. The S14 had to be an auto, or ragged out or something. In theory, they should be very close, not 17hp apart.
As far as the rest of the posters in here, can you guys answer a question withing being a moron about it? 4? 8? Either post fairly accurate numbers or don't post at all!
This is a "How much hp and what's under the hood?" post, not "What's your IQ?" Treat it as such.

For anyone that doesn't have dyno sheets, it's all speculation and BS anyway. Though folks with stock cars like mine can probably assume stock power output. But you never know ;)

My stock SOHC runs very strong for a 140,000 mile engine. Does it still make 140hp? I dunno.

at 16-18 psi on a S15 T28.... I'm hoping for around 275-300whp... But only the dyno will in spring. :)

heres my accufantasyguesstimation -

155 stock
~ 125 rwhp
+ 2 rwhp for 3 inch catback
+ 2 rwhp for custom intake

129 hp @ the rearz

Thanks man....

so all this time I really could've said I had more power than I have been.....
