Im doing a semester abroad in Newcastle Australia, its like 1.5 hours from sydney..anyone been to Australia? What did you think? stories/experiences? what to see while Im there? good places to check out? good places to stay away from? platypus encounters? let me know..Im pretty excited, gonna be there from Feb-July and living right near the beach I guess :snoop:

newcastle kinda sux
its about an hour away from Sydney
its a very quite little town, went there a couple of times when I was still in Australia
the train system do run from Newcastle to Sydney
