KA/SR Tranny

What is the difference between these five speed transmissions? will either or mount up to the engines? I may have a local sr tranny i could purchase for my KA24de I just want to know whether or not it will work.

if your gonna use a sr tranny on a ka just change the bell housing. vice versa. GG look it up this has been covered plenty of times.

Like xplicit said, all you have to do is swap the bell housings over. Do not change the tail piece. Other than that its all the same just fifth gear is shorter is the SR tranny.
