If you are serious, then you should just tell your parents. Their reaction will show how much they care about you. But I don't personally see why it matters if you do. It's your sexual preference and has nothing to do with your parents imho.

Maybe you should write them a letter so that you aren't present when they find out. Also, if you are asking this question, you are obviously not close enough to your parents or you are expecting unfavorable results. If this is the case, write in the letter that you didn't feel comfortable telling them in person.

Also, the more i read the responses here the more I think it was a fail at logging out. My original post wasn't even 10 minutes after his.
