I'm running a walbro 255 and will be tuning my car with a power fc. What aftermarket fuel pressure regulator should I use. I have heard some bad things about tomei/nismo fpr's. Aeromotive I see commonly and Magnafuel.

Should I use a 1:1 riser pump or just a standard single setting one? How will this affect my tuning?

Thanks Zilvia..

Get SARD simple! Easy to setup, also you can put a pressure gauge on one of the ports. There are 3 ports, two are 1/8 npt (inlet and oulet) and the other is 1/8 bspt (usually for gauges, might require adapter for npt to bspt depending on gauge thread).

Only problem that you will get is, if your motor is a S14 SR then you have to mount the regulator on the side of the strut tower, and install an adapter on the fuel rail, i personally used a NISMO adapter.

Aeromotive. Nismo is pretty hit or miss. I'm on my second one now.

This is my first hearing anything bad about the tomie/nismo fprs. Is the issues with adjusting them all the time? Because I kinda just leave mine set where its supposed to be.

Stay away from Nismo.
I honestly feel like making a thread just to rant about how that POS regulator tries to destroy me on a regular basis.

Aeromotive or SARD > Nismo

there are quite a few threads on here about the Nismo FPR not working correctly. Fuel pressure setting changes constantly with the Nismo Reg.
So its not very reliable

Like flip3d said its a Hit or Miss with Nismo FPR

Nismo/Tomei has a tendency to break its vacuum seal, the top piece loosens up from the bottom piece that attaches to the rail and leaks air pressure. Leaky air pressure = shitty fuel pressure
