Denso Supra turbo fuel pump for around $150 + shipping
Now for the background: The previous GTR fuel pump (at least that's what I was told) was not enough. The car was running flat and knocking up top. Wideband showed that it was running lean. With 91octane, I doubt if I'm making more then 350hp. My previous dyno was around 300hp with massive boost leak.
And for the review: Idle is much better. The car doesn't stumble driving off durring cold start anymore. Power is up throughout the rev band according to my dyno butt. Most importantly, there are no knocks up top as for as I tell. With the Honda Prelude strainer, it was alsmost a direct fit. All you have to do is snipped some wires.
The bad: my cabin still smell like gas but getting better. Clutch slipping :(
My tip: Be patient and wait until you're near empty. I didn't.
Enjoy...

first of all... what year supra, turbo or twin turbo?, s13 or s14? 300zx?
those are the details people always ask or are really interested in to be 100% sure...

S14
Denso automotive parts available online at DensoProducts.com (http://www.densoproducts.com/resultsSearch.asp?txtPartNumber=950-0155&kid=2118&gclid=CKPk7KejnZcCFRxNagodyUoK_g)
or google denso 950-0155
This kit has a 90 degree stainer which should work for the S13 but I'm not sure if it will be oriented in the correct position.
As for the S14, everything seemed to line up including the Honda Prelude strainer (google for which year Prelude or fresh alloy it). I'm able to run down to 16.5 gallons or when the fuel light comes on without fuel pick up problems. I had to snip and crimped my wire but you made not have to on your s14. It was almost a complete plug and play.
Did toyota make a single turbo supra or was that only aftermarket?
Anyway, I hope that answer all your questions.
enjoy

well depending on what year supra your talking about...
old supras (the ones with pop-up lights..) came turbo in US and TWIN TURBO in other places... and the last generation supra came N/a and twin turbo...

walbro or tomei maybe? I'm not a big fan of frankenstein combination of oem parts. If it works for you, awesome...but If a custom setup was something I was doing, an aeromotive/Bosch external pump would be in order.

because walbros are loud as fuck, and unreliable. (i know i had 2 walbros in 1 car. )just get a Twin Turbo Z32, our stock fuel pump pumps enough gas for the 750ish whp guys no problem.

OUR STOCK FUEL pumps are good to 750whp!?!?! I call bullshit. COMPLETE BULLSHIT.
and to the others talking this mess about running walbro over a high flow stock... FUCK NO. Thats like saying you'd rather run autozone pistons/rings/bearings in a rebuilt motor over factory stuff.

ive had my walbro for about 2 or 3 years already, no problems... have 12psi of boost... and know people running 550cc and 740cc injetors with walbro and no problem at all, don't tell me you bought ebay walbros JAJAJA most of them aren't real walbros...
aren't fuel pump psi rated and not HP rated like psi boost and fuel psi rated or something like that?

if you just chilled out for a second, you would realise he owns a z32 and "our pumps" means z32 fuel pump.
all it takes took is one click of his sig to find out.

Wow people. It was only a suggestion. You choose your own poison and there are plenty of choices out there. As for Walbro, it's a toss up on reliability. The GTR-fuel pump as I stated was not enough for me. May be it was just old/used up... z32, Tomei, etc....I can just keep going.
As for a replacement S14 strainer, there isn't one but someone was kind enough to do the homework and found the prelude walbro kit to work for the s14. You can always go to the dealer for one but the last time I asked, they do not sell it separately. You have to buy the fuel pump with it.
If anyone know where I can buy an OE S14 strainer/sock only, let me/us know. I would like one.
Bejo--you're right, I forgot about those 1st gen Supra
And for most of us running modded S-chassis, they are all Frankenstein of some kind. :)
enjoy

alot of guys here run walboro pumps with zero problems, i've been using mine for 3+ years
its not too loud either, i only hear it when i prime my car then after i turn the key the noise is gone, and my car is real quiet too

I would trust OEM products more than some cheap alternative. My recommendation is to run a z32 fuel pump, know a lot of people running that setup, its a little pricey but it works.

you sir are an absolute fuckin moron, did you ever pass your reading comprehension class? I drive a 1991 Twin Turbo 300ZX yes the OEM Twin Turbo Fuel pump is good for over 750whp. Supra Guys switch over to our pump. in fact, these are my mods
Dual Intakes
Dual Maf's
Nismo 555cc injectors
HKS FMIC
RPS Sport Clutch
Downpipes
Test Pipes
Stillen Cat Back
Mine's VX-Rom
Greddy Profec B Spec 2
Z1 GT525 Turbos
My Clutch is rated at 500ft lbs of torque. if the boost goes any higher than 12psi i make it slip. the VG30 makes more torque than HP so It's safe to say right now im making about 470 whp. I'll be getting a new clutch soon and rebuilding my bottom end but my Stock Fuel Pump is doing just fine at these WHP levels. I can confidently say I'll be making close to 600hp at the crank next spring. and Steve Shadows will have a dyno sheet for us.
here is a nice unit going on ebay bids is only like 5$ right now so if you need one I'd hop on this bad boy

I'll have to keep this in mind encase my brother ever finds a Supra fuel pump while he's trolling his Toyota forums.... I have a Walbro and it's kinda loud but I got used to it, and I like being able to hear my car prime before I start it so I know every thing's good to go.

the only take on MKIV supra (93-2002) TT is that the pump dear too much current...alot of supra guys run OEM pump and Walbro if they are going above 500whp
If you need a reliable Fuel pump...Buy a 97-2001 BMW 750IL (12 cylinder) that thing will give you fuel up that you can hit the 800whp mark with a 2JZ
Price....I dunno how much it will cost in the US...but here i can get it for LESS then 150$ (Around 137-140$)
